Disable Windows 7 Splash Screen: Make Booting Faster


Windows 7 Splash Screen is the small clip that plays while booting your PC, laptop which show the windows logo saying "Starting Windows" which is around for a few seconds. Step 1: Access System Configuration Tool. Press (windows key) + R and type in msconfig and press Enter or search for "System Configuration" in windows 7 program search from the start menu.
Step 2: In the System Configuration window click on the Boot tab. Now check the "No GUI Boot" option enabled.
Step 3: Click Apply and OK and Restart to see the settings in action.
The next time your pc boots it goes directly to the windows logon screen without wasting few seconds on the windows splash screen.
