How to Uninstall WiseCleaner Software?
Introduction
Sometimes you might need to uninstall WiseCleaner Software. Before this operation, please make sure that the WiseCleaner software is not running.
Generally, there are 2 ways to uninstall (remove) an installed application from the Windows system.
- 1. Uninstall an app by Wise Program Uninstaller
- 2. Uninstall an app from Windows Settings
Wise Program Uninstaller is used to fast and completely remove, modify or force uninstall the installed application in the Windows system.
Step 1, Launch Wise Program Uninstaller and locate the app you want to remove
Wise Program Uninstaller displays all installed apps after launching. Drag the scroll bar on the right and find the app you want to remove or type the app name (keywords) in the search box to quickly locate the app.
Step 2, Select and Remove the app
Select the app you want to remove and click the button Safe Uninstall, and click Yes to confirm the Uninstall. The app will be removed from your computer automatically.
Step 3: Delete residual files
When the uninstallation is finished, Wise Program Uninstaller will search the residual items (registry entries, files, and folders) of the application. Please check the list carefully, then click Remove to confirm the deletion.
Here we use Windows 10 system as a sample.
Step 1, Open Apps & features
Press Win + I to open Windows Settings, navigate to Apps – > Apps & features. Then you can see all the installed applications.
Step 2, Select and Remove the app
Select the app you want to remove and click the button Uninstall, and click Yes to confirm the Uninstall. The app will be removed from your computer automatically.
If you are running Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista, you can uninstall an app from Control Panel – > Programs – > Uninstall a program.
If you are running Windows XP, the path is Control Panel – > Add or Remove Program – > Change or Remove Programs.
