For most people, turning on a computer is a simple routine: press the power button, wait for the boot-up, and log in. For programmers and power users, however, the process is optimized for speed, efficiency, and minimal friction. Press Windows+R to open Run dialog box. Type “control” in it and click OK.

Select System on the menu of the Control Pane main interface. If it is not there, change the View by method to either Large icons or Small icons.

On the window that pops up, scroll down until you find Advanced system settings in the Related links section. Click on it.

This will open the System Properties window. Then click on Settings under the Startup and Recovery section.

On the Startup and Recovery window that opens, set the values of the following options to both 0 seconds:
