How to delete all hyperlinks in Word document with shortcut key?

Dec 4, 2013

If you copy something from the web and paste them into a Microsoft Word file, you may find that there are a lot of hyperlinks, which you may want to delete them.

So, how do you delete those unused hyperlinks? Simply right-click them one by one and choose "Remove hyperlink"? This method is very time-consuming especially if you have a very long article that has a lot of hyperlinks.

The second method may try to paste the content into a notepad first, then copy the content from Notepad and paste it again into a new Word file. This method will also remove the heading and style of your content, it is because when you paste something into Notepad, notepad will only read plain text from it.

So, how to solve this problem wisely? The best method is to paste your content into a new Word file, press "Ctrl + A" to select all, and then use the shortcut key "Ctrl + Shift + F9" to remove all hyperlinks.
